This year marked the 40th Anniversary since Deeter Electronics began, and we wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to everyone past and present who has helped us get to where we are today and give you a bit of a background to the company.
Originally formed in July 1982 by Peter Whiteaker and Derrick Gallagher (both of whom are chartered engineers) in a garden shed under the name Deeter Engineering Services Limited, the company started by designing and manufacturing digital thermometers and control panels.
From then on, the company grew and now finds itself in its current office in Hughenden Valley, Buckinghamshire. With a franchise in America and distributors across the globe we really have come a long way.
Over the last 40 years we have been involved in the design and manufacture of a variety of products including the original Digital Thermometers and Control Panels, moving onto Weighing Systems and to our current range of Specialist Liquid Level Sensors and Control Equipment.
As a family run business, we could not have got to where we are today without the support and loyalty of all our staff and took the opportunity to say thank you to them during our celebrations that took place in December.
With Peter having stepped back from the business it is now being run by his son Joseph Whiteaker and we are all looking forward to what the next 40 years will bring.
